The Woman Who Maps Every Tornado

Make an inspiring documentary short about a real American storm chaser who maps tornado damage to help small towns receive federal aid. Open on a wide 16mm-style shot of a flat Kansas horizon beneath rotating storm clouds, then whip-pan into a vehicle interior with dashboard reflections and a 35mm lens. Follow her through muddy fields, county offices, and quiet conversations with families rebuilding. Use natural gray daylight, intermittent lightning, headlamp-lit night footage, and restrained cinematic sound design. Balance danger with careful science and empathy. Present the story like a premium public-radio documentary adapted for YouTube, with a strong cold open, clear stakes, and authentic creator-style visual captions.
