The Whale Beneath Chicago

Create a cinematic 45-second short for YouTube Shorts and TikTok: during a rainstorm, a Chicago subway conductor notices a colossal blue whale swimming silently through the tunnel walls. Start from a dramatic low-angle 18mm perspective inside the train, with passengers frozen beneath flickering sodium lights. Push forward on a stabilized dolly as the whale’s eye passes outside the windows, then switch to a 100mm macro close-up of rainwater rippling across the conductor’s cap. Blend grounded urban realism with dreamlike scale, volumetric mist, wet reflections, and restrained blue-and-gold grading. Build tension without dialogue, using rail screeches and a deep whale call. Finish on a wide station platform as the whale disappears into the sunrise.
