The Town That Runs on Volunteers

Tell the uplifting documentary story of a remote Montana town whose essential services are powered by volunteers. Open with a sweeping 24mm aerial over snow-covered roads, then descend into intimate handheld scenes inside the volunteer fire station, library, and community kitchen. Use 35mm tracking shots during active preparation and 85mm close-ups for candid interviews. Balance cool daylight through windows with warm practical bulbs, soft contrast, and gentle film grain. Include natural sounds of boots, radios, coffee cups, and laughter. Build a clear emotional arc around one winter emergency, ending with a wide dusk shot of neighbors gathering, formatted for YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels.
