The People Who Repair Time

Document a small watch-repair shop in Chicago where mechanical clocks, family heirlooms, and personal memories converge. Begin with an extreme macro 100mm shot of gears turning, then pull focus to the watchmaker's eye behind a loupe. Use slow, precise slider movements, overhead table shots, and quiet 35mm portrait interviews. Illuminate the workspace with soft north-facing window light, warm tungsten lamps, and deep but natural shadows. Emphasize tactile sound: tiny tools, springs, ticking mechanisms, and a drawer opening. Shape the narrative around one damaged pocket watch and its owner's emotional reason for restoring it, with premium streaming-documentary polish.
