The Ocean Beneath the City

Make an atmospheric anime mystery beneath a flooded underground subway in New York. A young diver follows a school of luminous koi through abandoned train cars and discovers an ancient underwater station guarded by a giant glass whale. Begin with a slow first-person descent using a 16mm ultra-wide lens, transition into a graceful side-tracking shot through the train, and finish with a majestic low-angle reveal of the whale. Use deep teal water, shafts of sunbeams, floating dust, bioluminescent highlights, detailed fabric movement, and painterly cel backgrounds. Keep the mood quiet and wondrous, with a final close-up of a subway map blooming into coral.
