The Mall That Never Sleeps

Create a cinematic documentary short about an overnight mall security guard who knows every hidden sound in the building. Open with a low-angle 24mm tracking shot through empty corridors at 2:13 a.m., polished floors reflecting flickering storefront lights. Cut to intimate 50mm handheld interviews as the guard explains abandoned escalators, lost wedding rings, and the mall’s unofficial midnight regulars. Use cool fluorescent lighting contrasted with warm flashlight beams, natural room tone, and restrained investigative narration. Include close-ups of security monitors, worn keys, and coffee steam. Structure it for TikTok and YouTube Shorts with a shocking first-second hook, escalating discoveries, and a reflective ending about American public spaces after closing time. Authentic, observational, no staged scares.
