The Last Payphone in America

Create a cinematic documentary short about a forgotten payphone still operating outside a fading Ohio bus station. Open with a low-angle 24mm shot at dawn, slowly dollying toward the booth as rain glistens on cracked pavement. Cut to macro close-ups of the rotary keypad, scratched glass, and coins inside the return slot. Use cool blue natural light mixed with a warm fluorescent practical, subtle film grain, and restrained ambient sound. Interview a longtime station worker in intimate 50mm handheld shots. Structure the story like a viral YouTube Short or TikTok mini-documentary, ending with the surprising person who still calls it every week.
