The Hidden Life of a Theater Rig

Create a behind-the-scenes documentary about stage technicians preparing an old theater for opening night. Start from the balcony with a wide establishing shot, then descend through catwalks using a controlled gimbal move. Cut to tight telephoto and macro details of pulleys, cables, dust, painted scenery, and hands testing safety lines. Use dramatic work lights, shafts of warm stage light, and cool shadows backstage. Build the soundscape from footsteps, rope tension, radio cues, and distant rehearsals while technicians explain the invisible craft that makes live performance possible.
