The Great Backyard Squirrel Negotiation

Create a cinematic, family-friendly vertical comedy short featuring a clever border collie negotiating with a squirrel from opposite sides of a backyard fence. Start with a wide 28mm establishing shot at ground level, then alternate between dramatic 85mm close-ups of the dog’s focused eyes and the squirrel’s twitching nose. Use golden-hour sunlight, long soft shadows, warm color grading, realistic outdoor textures, and a slow suspenseful push-in. The dog places a tennis ball near the fence as an offer; the squirrel responds by dropping an acorn. Build tension with exaggerated western-style music, then reveal a second squirrel stealing the tennis ball in the background during the handshake-like moment.
