The Giant in the Redwood Mist

A young park ranger hikes through ancient redwoods and notices enormous barefoot prints appearing in the wet moss behind her. Start with a low macro shot of fern leaves trembling, then track backward in front of her as fog thickens between the trees. Reveal the giant only through fragments: a moss-covered hand, a distant eye, branches bending overhead. Use a long telephoto lens to compress the forest, then a wide-angle reveal when the creature finally steps into the clearing. Soft overcast light, silver mist, earthy color grading, subtle handheld movement, and natural sound create a grounded cinematic folklore short.
