The Elevator Skips Reality

Create a tense vertical horror short inside an old apartment elevator with scratched metal walls and a flickering fluorescent panel. Use a security-camera angle at first, then switch to a tight handheld close-up as the elevator indicator changes to unfamiliar symbols. Shoot on a slightly distorted wide lens, with slow mechanical zooms and abrupt frame stutters. The lighting shifts from sickly green to deep red while the elevator descends without showing any floor doors. A shadow appears beneath the closed doors, stretching against the direction of the light. End as the doors open onto the exact same elevator, with a figure waiting inside.
