The Elevator Goes Sideways

Make a surreal, high-retention horror short for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts. A night-shift worker enters an office elevator on the 30th floor, but instead of rising or descending, the elevator begins moving horizontally through darkness. Use a centered 20mm wide-angle shot with rigid symmetry, then introduce a slow sideways tracking movement as the walls tremble. Harsh white ceiling panels flicker over brushed steel, while the floor tilts impossibly beneath the worker’s shoes. Display numbers change from 30 to 29, then to unfamiliar symbols. Add realistic fluorescent buzz, distant knocking, and subtle lens distortion. End with the doors opening onto a dark copy of the same elevator, containing another version of the worker.
