The Dollar Store Physics Trick

Create a surprising classroom-style physics short using a plastic cup, index card, coin, and a US one-dollar bill. Frame the setup from a top-down 50mm angle, then switch to a dramatic 120fps side view as the coin drops into the cup when the card is flicked. Use bright daylight-balanced lighting, a clean colorful desk, crisp shadows, and a quick whip-pan between each attempt. A friendly American science creator explains inertia in simple language with animated arrows and bold captions. Add a playful “Can you predict it?” pause for audience interaction on TikTok and YouTube Shorts, then reveal the result in satisfying slow motion.
