The Doll Moves Between Frames

Create a stop-motion-inspired horror short inside a dusty attic filled with covered furniture. Open on a locked-off high-angle shot with a normal lens, showing a porcelain doll seated on a wooden chair beneath a skylight. Use warm sunset rays, floating dust, and deep corners of shadow. Every time the camera makes a subtle whip pan toward scattered photographs, the doll moves closer without visible motion. Gradually shift into handheld close-ups of its cracked face, loose glass eyes, and tiny stitched smile. The final pan reveals the doll sitting in the camera operator’s chair, while the original chair holds a curled human silhouette beneath a sheet.
