The Algorithm Made Them Neighbors

Create a warm, investigative documentary about a small Ohio town transformed when local creators begin livestreaming its abandoned downtown. Start with a drone establishing shot at golden hour, descending toward a closed theater and main street murals. Use a 24mm shoulder-mounted camera for energetic creator scenes, 35mm tracking shots through pop-up events, and 100mm macro inserts of phones, donation alerts, comment feeds, and handmade signs. Mix polished interviews with imperfect livestream audio, showing how TikTok, Twitch, and Instagram Reels turn attention into real businesses, disagreements, and community pride. Light interviews with soft window light and practical storefront bulbs. Keep the style hopeful but nuanced, revealing who benefits from going viral.
