A Fire Lookout Above the Clouds

Make a sweeping documentary about a forest fire lookout stationed on an isolated mountain ridge. Open with an aerial rise through morning cloud cover, revealing the lookout tower, then switch to a telephoto lens compressing layered mountains behind the observer. Use slow, deliberate tripod pans, intimate eye-level interviews, and closeups of binoculars, weather instruments, handwritten logs, and wind moving through pine needles. Light the cabin with cool dawn tones that become warm afternoon sunlight. Capture radio static, creaking wood, distant birds, and the quiet tension of watching the horizon.
